It was wonderful to get together with this sweet family again! The new mural painted at Sola Coffee (highly recommend!) in North Raleigh provided a wonderful backdrop. Laura, David and Henry are always a joy to be around and being able to photograph them for the past few years has been such a privilege.

I met the Shlabach family when their son Henry was born and I worked for a summer as their nanny. Little did I know, we would become great friends in the years to come! Henry is full of energy and I loved capturing these precious moments for their family. I can't even begin to recount the memories I have with my dear friend, Ashley. She was much like a sister to me growing up and I am honored to be able to capture her families memories now! Josh, Ashley, Piper and Penelope are such a sweet family to photograph and I really love the time I get to spend with them. I am looking forward to many more sessions with this amazing family!

Ashley contacted me wanting some maternity pictures taken but wanted the focus to not only be "maternity". This session turned out beautifully! Ashley is a wonderful mommy to Piper and I know she is going to be an incredible mom of 2 very soon!
The Medlin Family
I absolutely love photographing families with young children! However, with young children comes a need to be creative to get the perfect pictures. This session was no different...as soon as the youngest jumped out of the car, he fell and scraped up his elbow. We began this session with a few tears but as you can see, the laughter came pretty quickly. Also, I'm not really sure what was happening behind me to get the pictures of the kids but with those smiles, it must of been pretty funny.
