Front Porch Pictures

Here in NC, as in many places around the world, we are on “stay home” orders. It’s very likely chaotic in your house as everyone works from home and does all their school work virtually. I have noticed though, this time is also giving us so much family time! Do you see that? In our house it looks like playing outside, building legos with daddy, finding a quiet pond to fish in nearby…good, slow, family time.

I photographed my nieces drive-by birthday party at a distance on Monday. (See pictures here) The experience gave me a wonderful idea to document life in our city during this time of being home with our families. As I began to think more and look into it, I realized that many photographers are doing this too and the pictures are fantastic. I want to be a part of documenting this history we are living through. Also, if I am being honest, I am missing taking family pictures!

Here’s my plan…over the next couple weeks I am going to drive around our city and photograph you on your porch with your family from a distance. You can dress up, you can wear PJs, you can be silly or serious…this is about you and what your life looks like right now. Then, I will email you a link to download a few high resolution images of your family. I will be reaching out to past clients and friends in the next week or so. If you don’t hear from me, just complete the form on my website contact page and let me know you are interested!
